Nosy Sakatia is located opposite of MADAPLOUF dive centre and it takes around a 10 minute boat ride, to start exploring this still authentic island.
With no roads or cars, Nosy Sakatia will welcome you for a relaxing afternoon after snorkelling with the green turtles in the Ambohibe Turtle Reserve.

LE PLUS GROS POISSON DU MONDE
RHINCODON TYPUS, le REQUIN BALEINE, mesurant habituellement jusque 12 mètres passe à table dans les eaux de MADAGASCAR.
Ce géant poisson, migrateurs selon les saisons, se retrouve en grand nombre dans les eaux tropicales de Nosy Be.
Venant se nourrir dans les eaux riches en planton et banc de petits poissons proche de la surface, de très belles immersions en Palmes/masque/tuba sont réalisées autour de Nosy Be lors de nos sorties ‘observation requin baleine’.
En octobre commencent à arriver les mangeurs de plancton : REQUINS BALEINES, RAIES MOBULA et sa grande cousine RAIES MANTA…jusque mi-décembre ses gloutons à l’appétit titanesque se baladent paisiblement dans les eaux tropicales du nord-ouest de Madagascar.

WHALE WATCHING
During winter (June to September), the Megaptera Novaeangliae, better known as the humpback whale, arrive in the waters of Madagascar. In our waters they mate, are born and wean their young young before returning to the cold waters.
They have a very sociable character which they show by their spectacular breaches.
From our dive centre, we organise daily whale watching excursions.

NOSY TANIKELY
Nosy Tanikely, now a nature reserve, is covered with lush tropical vegetation and surrounded by a transparent sea. It is the ideal destination for all lovers of diving and snorkelling.
